There are so many new and exciting artists that work with raw metal; used and new scrap metal. Used car parts, discarded stoves, bikes and more junk ~sparkle with life as they are transformed into new creations. We call it art. There are so many variations to scrap metal art. Some are good and others are great. You decide on what you are about to see here at Paul’s Scrap Car Artists!
Sculptures made out of scrap car parts by Australian artist James Corbett.
I like the spark plug jacket and matching hat. Almost a Coco Chanel look! The way the jacket/spark pugs flow is that touch that divides the great artists from the okay artists. Bravo to you James Corbett! Most of all, I like the motion ~ how the artist made this sculpture so life-like. I wouldn’t put it in my living room. But, there is a good place for it. Maybe at a dog walking service, dog food manufacturers or at a Vet’s shop. Even a high fashion store would work. She looks very “Sparky”.
BIRDS OF A FEATHER
The scrap artwork from James is amazing! He really captures the essence of these foul feathered friends. The rooster looks proud and regal. The goose neck and feet are brilliant. A very special artist. Move over Picasso!
I really like this artist from down under. I find his work shows a real sense of movement and style. It’s hard to get an inanimate object look almost real! Good work there James. I like your style!
